La galería Pilar Parra & Romero tiene el placer de presentar la primera parte de la muestra GEOPLAY, con la participación de Philippe Decrauzat, Germaine Kruip, Conrad Shawcross y Katja Strunz.

Entre las fronteras de la modernidad y el modernismo y operando entre arte conceptual, abstracción, ciencia y filosofía, GEOPLAY interroga diferentes significados y cuestiones de cómo la geometría y la abstracción contienen diferentes juegos de percepciones, siendo la composición geométrica así como su resolución técnica, hilos conductores donde la memoria y la narrativa aparecen a través de diferentes tiempos y espacios.
A su vez, otra cuestión en está exposición es señalar nuevas cuestiones de forma que continúan y evolucionan de un modo más contextual, de pequeña manera ligados a la obra modernista pero que actúan de una manera más radical y contemporánea.

Between the boundaries of modernity and modernism and operating in the gap between conceptual art, abstraction and graphic art., GEOPLAY will draw different meanings and questions of how geometric imagery and abstraction content different perceptions; being the geometric composition as well as the technique and media, vehicles where memory and narrative appear from experiences that occur through different times and spaces.

Another intention of this show is to point out that questions about form continue and advance in a contextual mode, in a way a little alienated from the modernist work. Therefore the concept of the pieces in this show, performs in a more contemporary and radical way.
